Security Camera Systems Application

You can help protect your home or business through the use of security camera systems. For many, the visible presence of CCTV systems (closed circuit television) offers additional security and safety. Not only do these high-tech surveillance cameras act as an effective crime deterrent, but their applications can range well beyond simple property protection, allowing you to remotely monitor many other types of activities surrounding your home or business. Typical applications for security cameras include:

  • Theft or robbery prevention, as a visible deterrent
  • Protection from vandalism
  • Suspicious activity monitoring
  • Employee surveillance

IP Video Surveillance

IP video surveillance systems, also known as ?network security camera systems,? are available with several options for a broad range of applications. Once installed and configured correctly, these remotely monitored surveillance systems will allow you to remotely access and view live footage of multiple cameras from any device, such as a PC, tablet or smartphone, from anywhere in the world. All captured surveillance footage can be stored on a digital storage device such as a DVR or HDD (hard-disk drive).

DVR or NVR Recording

In most camera system applications, the employment of recording devices such as a DVR (digital video recorder) or NVR (network video recorder) is common. Surveillance systems, either hard-wired or wireless, record live feeds directly onto these storage devices and can play back footage on demand. Single recording devices are capable of continuous recording from multiple streams in High Definition, eliminating the need to purchase additional components.

You can’t be everywhere at once, but your Eyecom surveillance system can.
